FESTVIAL.

Pride Glasgow is Scotland’s largest festival of LGBTI celebration returning in 2017 for a 2 day festival weekend at Glasgow Green.

The Festival takes place on August 19th and 20th with the site opening from 12pm on the Saturday and 1pm on the Sunday.

Pride Arena

The Pride Glasgow Arena is our outdoor main stage which in previous years have seen acts such as Texas, Union J, Heather Peace, Lucy Spraggan, The Cheeky Girls and many more perform.

Festival Areas

Community Expo

The Community Expo is a crucial aspect of the festival as it allows for festival visitors to engage with and access services, find out about key organisations that support the LGBTI community across Scotland and gain vital knowledge of community groups and activities.

Pride Market

The Pride Market is a popular area of the festival offering a range of products for sale from t-shirts to rainbow accessories.

Stock up on your favourite accessories, buy a flag or a whistle or check out the official Pride Merchandise Stall

Family Area

Introduced in 2016 this area proved immediately popular and we have plans to build upon that popularity this year with more activities, facilities and fun for all the family. This area is non smoking and alcohol free and will feature children only toilets, baby changing faciliites and picnic style seating.

Youth Space

Every year the Youth Space provides to be a popular area for young people aged between 13 and 25. More details on this year’s youth space will be announced later in the year.

VIP Area

Do Pride in Style with our VIP area featuring luxury toilets, covered seating and a main stage view alongside its own catering units and bar with premium drink choices

Dog Show

Our annual dog show returns but for the first time will be on both days, further details about this year’s dog show will be available in the coming months.

Fairground

Introduced in 2013 the Fairground has been a popular addition to the Festival and will return to the festival this year.

Food Village

Our Food Village will host a range of food outlets and feature some of the best in Festival Food offerings.

Bars

With plans in place to extend the main bar with a much bigger area and additional features this year’s bar area will prove to be popular!

Tickets

Entry to the festival requires tickets. These are available to buy online, in Delmonica’s and Polo Lounge and on the day at the on site box office.

Wristbands

Tickets need to be exchanged for wristbands allowing for rentry to the festival site. Standard tickets can be exchanged at our wristband collection points from Saturday 12th of August until Friday 18th of August 2017 or from the on site wristband exchange point over the Pride Weekend.
